CoVal Refund Policy

At Covaluation (“we,” “us“, “CoVal” or “our”), we are committed to providing our customers with exceptional service and a clear understanding of our policies. This Refund Policy outlines the circumstances under which CoVal may issue refunds for its services.

This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service.

  1. Overview

Coval App offers various subscription tiers and pay-as-you-go credit options for accessing our business valuation platform. Clients pay monthly for subscriptions or upfront for a credit or bundle of credits. Credits are consumed when a specific action is completed, primarily defined as the generation of a valuation report (“Report“).

  1. Subscription Services
  • Subscription Fees: Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) as per the selected subscription plan.
  • Cancellation of Subscriptions:
    • You may cancel your subscription at any time.
    • Upon cancellation, you will continue to have access to the subscribed services until the end of your current paid billing period.
    • Subscription fees are non-refundable for the current billing period once it has commenced. We do not provide refunds or credits for any partial subscription periods or unused services if you cancel during a billing period.
  • No Refunds for Partial Use: We do not offer pro-rata refunds for subscriptions that are cancelled mid-term.
  1. Pay-As-You-Go Credits
  • Purchase of Credits: Credits are purchased in advance in as a single credit or in bundles.
  • Consumption of Credits: One credit is consumed from your available balance upon the successful generation of a Report through the CoVal platform.
  • Non-Refundable Credits: Purchased credits are non-refundable once the purchase is complete. Unused credits will remain in your account until they are consumed by generating Reports, with no expiration date imposed on the credit(s).
  • No Refunds for Consumed Credits: Once a credit has been consumed (i.e., a Report has been generated), it is non-refundable. We encourage users to ensure all inputs are accurate before generating a Report.
  1. Exceptional Circumstances

While our general policy is that payments are non-refundable as outlined above, CoVal may consider refunds in exceptional circumstances, such as:

  • Billing Errors: If you have been incorrectly billed due to a technical error on our part, please contact us immediately. We will investigate the issue and, if a billing error is confirmed, we will issue a refund for the erroneously charged amount.
  • Service Unavailability: In the rare event of prolonged, unscheduled service unavailability directly attributable to CoVal that prevents you from using the core functionalities for which you have paid, we may, at our sole discretion, offer a partial refund or service credit. This does not apply to scheduled maintenance or issues outside of our direct control.
  1. How to Request a Refund (for Exceptional Circumstances)

To request a refund under the exceptional circumstances outlined above, please contact our support team at accountqueries@covalapp.com within 7 days of the event giving rise to the refund request.

Please include the following information in your request:

  • Your full name and email address associated with your CoVal account.
  • A clear description of the reason for your refund request.
  • Relevant dates and transaction details.
  • Any supporting documentation (e.g., screenshots of errors).

We will review your request and notify you of our decision within a reasonable timeframe.

  1. Policy Changes

CoVal reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting the revised policy on our website. Your continued use of our services after any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Refund Policy. We encourage you to periodically review this page for the latest information on our refund practices.
